Cold Symmetry has pushed out a minor update for Mortal Shell 2 that’s available now on consoles and PC.

The patch, which shows up as Mortal Shell 2 update 1.000.010, brings fixes to items, shells, enemies and more.

Mortal Shell 2’s Hotfix on September 14 Resolves Lazlo’s Temperament perk infinite glitch

Shells

  • Fixed issues that caused Proxima to get stuck in the Biosampler animation
  • Fixed Lazlo’s Temperament perk infinite glitch

Items & Stones

  • Mether’s Severance can now be used at Genessa trainer
  • The Colossus Stone’s ability can now be canceled mid-execution
  • Fixed Justiciar Stone durability issues
  • Fixed Gloombound Stone losing durability from Gloom sources other than enemies
  • Fixed Egon’s Stone Gloom exploit
  • Fixed dungeons not loading correctly after using Egon’s Stone
  • Fixed spawning and targeting issues with Grisha Remnant and the Summon Stone

Enemies & Bosses

  • Fixed Hexapod diving attack occurring after death
  • Fixed several issues with enemies and bosses when being frozen
  • Fixed issue that allowed players to leave the Twin Sester fight after she spawns
  • Fixed Starved Harridan getting stuck and dying

NPCs

  • Fixed Zhirelle not interacting with the player in NG+
  • Fixed multiple Muttons spawning in the hub
  • Fixed issue that allowed certain NPCs to be damaged by sidearms
  • Fixed several issues with Genessa’s dialogue and training tutorials

Environment & World

  • Fixed Citadel Annex traversal camera issue
  • Fixed issues with death volumes in the Ashen Cathedral biome
  • Fixed issue that could trap players in the dungeon after claiming Lazlo
  • Fixed burn and stasis environmental hazards not using correct values
  • Fixed several collision and geometry issues

Stability

  • Crash and game stability improvements

While not as big as the first two patches released, who wouldn’t want more fixes, right? Once another patch is out, expect it here on MP1st.
