Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] Pre-Launch Livestream Set for September 30

Square Enix has announced that a special Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] pre-launch livestream is set for September 30 at 11:00 a.m. PT / 2:00 p.m. ET on Twitch and YouTube. David Gallagher, the voice of Riku in the Kingdom Hearts series, will be present at the Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] pre-launch livestream to answer fan questions solely about the collection.

The Kingdom Hearts series is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] on October 8. A demo for Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind and pre-orders for Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III] are available now. KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX will be available natively on Nintendo Switch, too.

Kingdom Hearts IV will launch in late 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. What’s more, the Kingdom Hearts: The Series anime was announced for Disney+ and Disney Channel with an all-new story by Tetsuya Nomura and Square Enix.

Kingdom Hearts IV is currently being developed by Square Enix Creative Studio 1, according to Final Fantasy VII Revelation game director Naoki Hamaguchi. Hamaguchi is currently leading development of Final Fantasy VII Revelation, and his remarks do paint a clearer picture of Square Enix’s development and release pipeline for the immediate future. Hamaguchi noted that Kingdom Hearts IV and Final Fantasy VII Revelation are major titles that Square Enix are pushing for 2027, and he’s going to push both titles forward.
