All new item locations in Elden Ring Tarnished Pack DLC

As of August 28th 2026, Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition made its way onto the Nintendo Switch 2. Not only has the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC been bundled into this package, but Bandai Namco has also released the Tarnished Pack DLC, which features new classes and cosmetic items from the Tarnished Edition of the game for players on all platforms to enjoy.

Below, I run through every new item added to Elden Ring (and their locations) on all platforms following the release of Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition on Nintendo Switch 2.

All new items and how to access them in Elden Ring Tarnished Edition

To be 100% clear, all of the new items and cosmetics listed below have been featured in the Elden Ring Tarnished Pack DLC (available for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC) to celebrate the release of Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition on Nintendo Switch 2.

These new items are available to every single owner of Elden Ring across all platforms but, unfortunately, unless you're buying the Switch 2 Tarnished Edition bundle, players on other platforms will need to purchase the Tarnished Pack DLC on their respective platforms to be able to access the new items detailed below.

Depending on your region, Elden Ring's Tarnished Pack DLC will cost you the following:

• £3.99
• $4.99

Of course, if you're planning on purchasing Elden Ring Tarnished Edition on Switch 2, this version of the game includes both the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and the Tarnished Pack DLC within its cost.

Below, you'll find every new item, and two new starting classes, that have been added to the game during this update including their locations.

Two new starting classes, and their armor set locations

The Tarnished Pack introduces two new starting classes, which are as follows:

Heavy Knight

The Heavy Knight is a bulky character that wields a Heavy Scimitar. Their starting stats are:

• Level: 10
• Vigor: 14
• Mind: 8
• Endurance: 17
• Strength: 15
• Dexterity: 11
• Intelligence: 7
• Faith: 8
• Arcane: 9

To get the Heavy Knight armor set, you must choose them as your starting class, or visit the Isolated Merchant at the Isolated Merchant's Shack in the Weeping Peninsula and buy it from them. Their weapon on the other hand can be bought from the Nomadic Merchant that's directly north of the Fort Haight West Site of Grace. Both locations are shown on the below maps:

Idus Knight

The Idus Knight is a more dextrous class that wields a Light Greatsword, which also happens to be the second standard Light Greatsword available in Elden Ring, and I'm very happy about it. Their starting stats are:

• Level: 7
• Vigor: 10
• Mind: 12
• Endurance: 11
• Strength: 13
• Dexterity: 15
• Intelligence: 8
• Faith: 11
• Arcane: 6

To get the Idus Knight armor set, you must choose them as your starting class, or visit the Nomadic Merchant that's north of the Bellum Church Site of Grace and buy it from them. Their weapon on the other hand can be picked up from beneath a tree that's north of the Liurnia Lake Shore Site of Grace. Both locations are shown on the below maps:

New armor sets and weapon locations

The Tarnished DLC introduces four new armor sets to the game in total, though this includes the armor sets of the two new starting classes mentioned above. The other two new armor sets, new weapons, and their locations are listed below:

Knight Leontiel armor set

To get your hands on the Knight Leontiel armor set, you need to have beaten Starscourge Radahn. Then, pay a visit to his arena after the fight via the Starscourge Radahn Site of Grace, and proceed north. You'll be invaded by Knight Leontiel, and upon defeat, will be able to collect their armor set and weapon.

Noble Broken Mask

To get your hands on the Noble Broken Mask armor set, you need to travel to the Erdtree Sanctuary Site of Grace in Leyndell Royal Capital (not the Ashen Capital!), and proceed west through the doorway. From here, go down the stairs and the elevator ahead, and in front of the Marika statue, there's a new message that reads 'Regression alone reveals secrets.'

Use the Law of Regression Incantation here, then approach the statue. You'll be invaded by The Noble Broken Mask and will receive their armor set upon defeat.

Reverse-Bladed Sword

To get the Reverse-Bladed Sword weapon, travel to the Roundtable Hold and speak to the Twin Maiden Husks. You'll be able to purchase it from them.

Ritual Thrusting Shield

To get the Ritual Thrusting Shield, travel to the Deep Siofra Well Site of Grace in Caelid and head west through the ravine. Enter the Caelid Colosseum that's behind the Great Jar, and you'll find this item on a corpse inside.

Reed Great Katana

To get the Reed Great Katana, travel to the Fort Faroth Site of Grace in Caelid and head north. Climb up the huge mound of decaying matter here using Torrent's double-jump to aid you, and you'll find the item on a corpse at the top.

New Torrent cosmetic skins locations

The Tarnished DLC is doing something that I admittedly never expected to see FromSoftware do, and that's introducing three different cosmetic skins for the beloved spectral steed, Torrent. Below, we detail where to find each of them.

Torrent Tree Sentinel skin

To get the Torrent Tree Sentinel skin, travel to the Godrick the Grafted Site of Grace (after defeating him). Go straight ahead into the throne room and then right, where you'll find a chest that contains this skin.

Torrent Carian Silver skin

To get the Torrent Carian Silver skin, travel to the Ranni's Rise Site of Grace. If you smash through the desk and books directly in front of you there, you'll find another chest to open that contains this skin.

Torrent Funeral Night skin

To get the Torrent Funeral Night skin, travel to the Hermit Merchant's Shack Site of Grace that's just outside of Leyndell Royal Capital. Head southeast of here, eventually veering south towards the cliff edge, and you'll find this skin laying beside a sword that's stuck in the ground.
